About TIPS
The Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) has established itself as a premier institution for paramedical education in the northeastern region of India. Founded in 2009, the institute began its journey as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model institute, in collaboration with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Tripura. Since its inception, TIPS has remained committed to producing skilled healthcare professionals equipped to meet the growing demands of the healthcare sector. It is situated near Agartala of the city, Tripura.
TIPS is affiliated with Tripura Central University, which ensures that the academic curriculum adheres to national standards. In addition to this affiliation, the institute also holds key recognitions and approvals from the following regulatory bodies:
- AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) – for courses involving radiological technologies
- INC (Indian Nursing Council) – for nursing education programs
- TNC (Tripura Nursing Council) – for regional compliance and standards
These affiliations and recognitions validate the quality of education and training offered at the institute.
